Okami for WII

Drawing favorable comparisons to the Legend of Zelda series, another adventure masterpiece, Okami brings Japansese mythology, folklore and legend together, in an epic story that tells the tale of Amaterasu, the Shinto sun goddess, who must save Japan from the clutches of darkness as a white wolf. Okami, with beautiful cel-shaded artwork, and fluid gameplay elements like the Celestial Brush, which allows players to paint characters, strokes and symbols with the Wii remote throughout the game. In spite of high praise from many, Okami’s sales were decidely lackluster on the PS2. With the new control on the Wii, and an audience that is likely more open to such a game, Okami appears set to be a fine addition to the Wii library, when it hits the street on March 25.
